Raised in the California foothills, Jonathan Roberts grew up with a camera slung around his neck. His family spent their summers vacationing in Morro Bay, San Luis Obispo and Cambria. By the time he graduated from High School, there was only one part of the world Jonathan Roberts wanted to live: San Luis Obispo. With camera in hand, he began school at Cal Poly graduating with a double major in Sociology and Graphic Arts/Photography six years later.
Jonathan also enjoys wine, cyclingnews.com, figuring out near impossible lighting setups, Michelle, his wife and their son Payton, single speed mountain bikes, chips and salsa, brie with crackers and carmelized onions, the perfect margarita with just a touch of salt, and knowing when he clicks the shutter that he captured a perfect moment.

Carla Geyer was born into a family of photographers. Her father founded the business Really Right Stuff, which sells custom camera equipment. After college Carla started to photograph weddings in Cayucos, Pismo Beach, San Luis Obispo and other Central Coast towns. Carla Geyer has been spinning her photographic magic on the Central Coast since the mid 1980s. San Luis Obispo Arts is proud to call her its own.
Carla shares her home with Buzz. Buzz is her hyper dalmatian who has near perfect spot distribution. Carla is an amazing chef, using her artistic talents in the creation of incredible dishes. She also enjoys riding her motorcycle through Central Coast back roads in search of new and exciting shooting locations.
