Carolyn and Kevin

Carolyn and Kevin had a wonderful destination wedding right here in San Luis Obispo. I was one of the only locals present for the festivities! Their ceremony was held at the Mt. Carmel Lutheran Church off of Grand Ave. After the ceremony, we all headed up to Castoro Winery in Paso Robles. This time of year is simply amazing in Paso Robles as the sun sets late at night and the light becomes incredibly vibrant shooting color across the horizon. Last Saturday didn’t disappoint as the weather was warm during the day but, Carolyn and Kevin chose to start the festivities late in the evening when everything was cooling off.

Carolyn and Kevin met at Calpoly a few years ago and have been together ever since. A couple of years ago they moved to Seattle where he works for Boeing and she is a teacher.

The bridesmaids and groomsmen were great and totally into doing any goofy thing I could think of. The bridal party images were drawn from their energy of anticipated celebration, matched with perfect golden light. I couldn’t have asked for a better scenario.

It was wonderful to see so many of Kevin and Carolyn’s family and friends absolutely ecstatic about their decision to marry. These two are a perfect match. I am delighted and proud to have been the one to document their day.
