Ashley and Dustin – Film | Monarch Club at Trilogy Wedding Photos

Film is sooo not dead! A couple of weeks ago I photographed Ashley and Dustin’s wedding at Monarch Club at Trilogy in Nipomo, California: HERE. The below update is the film I received back from my lab earlier this week. I love using a little bit of film along side my Nikon digital gear. The film used here was Fuji 400H in a Mamiya 645 AF. I love the soft, pastel look that really adds to the final collection of images. There is something timeless about the look of film and I really enjoy working through a few rolls on a wedding day. Enjoy!

Camera: Mamiya 645 AF, Fuji 400H. More: HERE.

matt haines - Gorgeous work! I just acquired a Mamiya 645AF and found your site. Perhaps you should dump the digital? :) I’ve relegated my dSLRs to ‘digital polaroids’ for my portrait work, shooting 645 and 6×7 mostly. Film is, as you’ve said, sooooo not dead! Especially with the extremely flexible new Portra 400. Keep up the good work!
