Quincy and Travis

I had the pleasure of photographing special friends this weekend. Some of you might recognize Quincy as she has been assisting me with weddings for over a year now. With wedding season finally slowing down a little (although I have 4 engagement sessions this week – ha!), I thought we could take advantage of the downtime and head on out for a little private Quincy and Travis shoot. These two are a dream to photograph as they are both very comfortable in front of the lens and every time they look at each other, sparks fly. I am amazed everyday that I am allowed to enter into a couples life and witness the raw love and emotion they feel towards one another. Quincy and Travis are a beautiful couple.

Quincy, I want to thank you for all your wonderful “behind the scenes” work this year. Best to you both!

Alexis and Ian | Madonna Inn Wedding Photography

Alexis and Ian know how to throw a party! When Alexis came to me about photographing her wedding, I was completely honored. Alexis is the wedding coordinator for the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California, so she works closely with a ton of wonderful wedding photographers. Because of this, I was very grateful to be the one she chose to capture her day. Alexis and Ian had their ceremony at La Perla Del Mar chapel in Shell Beach: HERE. From there, we all headed up to the Madonna Inn Expo Center where, by my count, there were approximately 200 people in attendance. DJ Bob did a wonderful job keeping the party rolling hour after hour: HERE. The food and cake were served up by Madonna Inn: HERE. Sprigs n’ Things took care of all the floral displays: HERE. BGA Lighting did an incredible job with the lighting setups: HERE. And Shameless (the band) played for well over an hour keeping everyone in super high spirits! Alexis and Ian’s wedding was incredible and this San Luis Obispo wedding photographer is extremely happy to have been along for the ride.
