Danielle and James had a wonderful Vina Robles wedding in Paso Robles, California. Their Paso Robles winery wedding was held under gorgeous blue skies on a warm summer evening. Danielle is a dream to shoot as her only request was that I, “do my thing,” – SWEET! Photographing the groomsmen was a lot of fun as they were all wearing kilts! I loved it. They were completely authentic, right down to the flasks in their waist pouches . The bridal party was a blast as all of them were very much into doing whatever it took to get the best possible photographs (including a small trek down a dirt hill in stilettos – these girls were great sports).

Adrianna is the on-site events manager for Vina Robles. She was simply incredible on the day. I was impressed with how she handled anything that came up and was told by Danielle that she was a terrific help during the planning process. You can find her contact information: HERE. Santa Barbara Wedding Locations | Guest Book

I love being one of the lucky Santa Barbara wedding photographers. On any given day, I shoot weddings at pristine vineyards with perfect light, gorgeous hotels with windows that go from floor to ceiling, 200 year old adobes that fall into perfect contrast with a bride’s gorgeous dress and a groom’s creased tux and palms that sway in the afternoon breeze. Santa Barbara weddings, Santa Ynez weddings and San Luis Obispo weddings are quite simply my favorite to shoot. I recently photographed a Firestone Vineyard wedding and was struck by how lucky I am to live on the California Central Coast. Kate and Miles

If the quality of a person is measured by their group of friends, then Miles and Kate are simply the best. Kate is splendid and full of equal parts grace, humor and love. Miles has a silly sense of humor, an abundance of charisma and some of the best dance skills I’ve seen in a long time. These two had their wedding at the Botanical Gardens in San Luis Obispo. The day was perfect with blue skies in Morro Bay where everyone got ready and warm weather late into the evening. I found myself wishing I was better friends with these two. Their tight circle is full of so much history and love; it was a privilege to be a part of their day.

This year has been an absolute blessing, as the couples I have worked with have continually inspired me photographically as well as personally. I am in awe of marriage and the commitment two people make to each other. My leap of faith with Michelle was the smartest thing I have ever done and I appreciate being present each time a new marriage is created. Each week I see people at their best. I see gorgeous brides, handsome husbands, considerate boyfriends, smiles, dancing, laughter and celebration. Real life is often hard and my attendance at each wedding serves as a constant reminder that my life is only enriched by the relationships I have and the new ones I create. Miles and Kate, thank you for setting the bar high and for being a wonderful example to this San Luis Obispo wedding photographer. I truly wish you more happiness with each and every year.
