Spring in Fresno is a wonderful time to have a wedding. The rolling hills are green and the snow covered Sierras are sprinkled with snow. Central California’s great valley is a gorgeous backdrop for an outside or garden wedding. Many couples choose a ranch style Fresno wedding venue which are numerous in this area. I suggest you take a look at the wonderful Fresno wedding venues I have listed below.

Fresno wedding photographers love shooting at Wonder Valley Ranch which is located just outside of Sanger, California. Wonder Valley Ranch weddings offer both outdoor and indoor wedding sites. As with the wedding sites, your wedding reception can be held inside or outside as well.

Bonnie B Ranch is close to Bass Lake which is about 45 minutes from Fresno. Bonnie B Ranch Weddings offer terrific views for both your reception and wedding ceremonies. You wedding ceremony can be held under 100 year old oaks which are a part of this gorgeous area. Fresno wedding photographers love shooting couples under these amazing trees.

The historic Fig Garden Swim and Racquet Club offers a lovely garden venue which stays cool under a canopy of trees even during the hot summer months. The wedding photography options are limitless in this gorgeous garden setting.

Shaver Lake has numerous venues for wedding celebrations. From beachside to the Lakeshore Resort, you will find wonderful options amongst the gorgeous pines. The Sierras are a perfect summer wedding location because of the crisp cool breeze and bright sunshine. Shave Lake offers great accommodations and lovely hiking, kayaking and other adventures for you and your guests. The Lakeshore Resort offers many rooms and full service catering.

20 miles or so as the bird flies (about an hour by car) is Bass Lake which is where Paradise Springs Resort is located. Wedding photography at Paradise Springs Resort is terrific as a Yosemite wedding ceremony is also an option because of the close approximation to Paradise Springs Resort. If you choose Paradise Springs Resort as your wedding venue, then you will be happy to know that they offer a few different options for your ceremony and have a terrific reception venue.

Another Fresno wedding venue is Pardini’s Catering and Bankquets. Pardini’s does full service catering and has access to many reception and wedding venue sites.

The Grand Ballroom Fresno wedding venue is primarily a banquet hall where both your reception and wedding ceremony can take place. The Grand Ballroom can host a large number of guests and is perfect for an elegant affair.

Ridge Creek Golf Club is located south of Fresno in a little town called Dinuba. The ceremony location at Ridge Creek Golf Club is on a gorgeous green lawn and provides wonderful views of orchards and a lovely setting sun. The light in the evening at Ridge Creek Golf Club makes for wonderful wedding photography.

Fresno Wedding Venue, Golden Palace Banquet Hall has both a wonderful reception venue as well as a ceremony site. The hall has an in house catering service and can accommodate groups of 300+. If you are looking for a Fresno wedding venue, you should take a look at Golden Palace Banquet Hall.

Hobb’s Grove is a gorgeous ranch setting in Sanger. Sanger is location south of Fresno and is very much an agricultural community. The ranch has an onsite wedding ceremony venue as well as a wonderful reception venue. The ranch has numerous Fresno wedding photographer opportunities and is truly an amazing place to photography weddings as the sun is hitting the horizon.

Montecito Sequoia Lodge is located off of Generals Highway in Kings Canyon. Kings Canyon offers lots of activities for you and your guest to take part in. You can raft the Kings River or fly fish along the shore. The drive to Montecito Sequoia Lodge is curvy and beautiful. You will not be disappointed as the staff at Montecito Sequoia Lodge will help you in every way possible. The wedding venues at the lodge are truly amazing giving you and your guest brilliant views of the high Sierras. I highly suggest you consider the Montecito Sequoia Lodge as your Fresno wedding venue.

One Fresno wedding venue location not often considered is the Fresno Metropolitan Museum. The Museum is a truly unique venue that can host hundreds of your friends and family. The Museum is opened up and you are allowed to have your ceremony in numerous locations.

The Meridian Banquet Hall is a Tuscan style venue with host many receptions each year. If you are looking for a stylish place to hold your reception, check out the Meridian Banquet Hall.

The Condor’s Nest Ranch is a ranch with a Frank Lloyd glass house on the premises. This is a gorgeous 20 acre location that is simply perfect for your evening reception. The hills and surround scenery are wonderful for Fresno wedding photographers. We love shooting when the light hits the horizon and the light turns a magical golden color.
