Italy offers hundreds of historic venues to celebrate your wedding. The Italian government has very few restrictions on weddings planning as well as legal civil ceremonies. Most of the paperwork required is done in your country prior to your arrival in Italy. Bluephoto is adept at traveling through many countries and can help with your destination wedding details. A civil ceremony done in Italy is recognized as legal throughout the world. Most priest or ministers in Italy perform both a civil ceremony as well as a catholic ceremony at the same time. Italian wedding venues

Abruzzo is a very modern region that is perfect for your destination wedding in Italy. As with many areas in Italy, the region still retains its traditions. There are many festivals featuring wonderful hand made crafts and colorful costumes. The countryside is incredible in this part of Italy. There are terrific mountains for hiking and lots of wildlife to see. L’Aquila is one of the regions main towns and sits under the Gran Sasso mountains. Sulmona is another wonderful option for your wedding as there are numerous places for you to have your Italian wedding ceremony. San Pellegrino (like the water) features gorgeous paintings and artwork. Santa dell’Assunta is also rich with character and gorgeous carvings. Atri is a town close to Vasto Marina where many resorts are located. The resorts offer amazing beaches that are perfect for your Italy wedding photographer. Basilicata wedding photographers must understand the sensitive beauty of this Italian wedding location. The coastal town of Maratea is the most popular and gorgeous towns in the region. The landscape of the region is typical Italian and truly perfect for your wedding.

Calabria is in the south of Italy and a bit warmer during the summer. The coastal breeze keeps the temperature moderate for most of the year. Diamante, Cosenza, Cirella, Praia a Mare and Palmi are towns along the Tyrrhenian coast that host excellent coastal resorts.

Campania region hosts the Bay of Naples and is overlooked by Mount Vesuvius. This little area is awe inspiring and truly amazing. The gorgeous beaches give way to a rolling countryside that is quant and receptive. Look for small villas in and around Campania as this is a truly amazing place to have your Italian wedding.
