....let's get off on the right foot.
I started shooting in High School and continued to have fun with it through college. Eventually it dawned on me that the more shoots I did, the more pizza I could order.
I include engagement shoots with almost every booking. Engagement shoots are a way for you to practice in front of the camera prior to your wedding day. We get a chance to hang out and explore cool spots and the images are always incredible. Without an engagement shoot, I'm this stalker guy following you around on your wedding day, ick!
Wear anything you are comfortable in and if you like, bring some extra clothes. Don't forget flip-flops or something you can walk in, as some of the best shooting locations often require we make a quick getaway (joking.....kind of).
First, you will love your wedding day images, promise. Secondly, I work hard to make the uncomfortable, nervous, boot shaking moments of a wedding day smooth and calm. I have shot a lot of weddings and have seen some really unexpected things (ie. cakes falling, brides vomiting, etc.) and they all seem to work out. Even though the unexpected seems like a horribly big deal at the time, most of the time it isn't. And since I've seen nutty stuff happen and I know most couples laugh about it after, I keep that in mind as the day progresses. I try to be calming, efficient and a little bit goofy - that's my personality, so it's an easy one for me.
Of course. Also, I touch up just about every image I send off and promise to do my best to get rid of that psycho wedding day blemish.
I do formal shots but, I have developed a system that makes even the largest (100 plus people) groups go quickly and smoothly. You can plan on between 15 and 20 minutes for formal shots after your ceremony. That's it, zooom!
I use the pro Nikon line of lenses, strobes and camera bodies. The quality of the images is such that you can make huge prints of every shot. *(warning on billboard size prints: things you may want to appear small no longer look small when splattered with harsh lighting over a freeway off ramp).
Blue, light blue, dark blue, sky blue, ocean blue, but not periwinkle - periwinkle is not blue.
I require a $1000 booking fee. I don't consider myself booked without a signed contract and deposit. The contract helps me keep track of where I am supposed to be each day and any special requests each couple has. I do accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex and Discover.
Lately I have been experimenting with every possible combination of Panini. I have a really sweet cast iron Panini pan that squishes the bread just right. My recent favorite is probably a mixture of sliced ciabatta, olive oil, sundried tomatoes, Muenster and caramelized onions, yum!
Hmm...
Nah, this is fun!!
