Each venue is unique and allows you to pick and choose precisely what you are looking for – small and intimate or formal and lavish. The beauty of the wine country and the surrounding Central Coast towns create the perfect wedding destination location.

The most popular San Luis Obispo wedding venues and Paso Robles wedding venues are the surrounding wineries. Wedding ceremonies on the central coast are often held in vineyards, on the beach or under gorgeous oaks. Many of the wineries offer outdoor and indoor reception possibilities. Many couples have their ceremonies in churches or the San Luis Obispo Mission and then travel the short distance to one of the San Luis Obispo Wineries for their wedding reception. I am truly lucky to live in San Luis Obispo and to be able to photograph weddings in this amazing place. The beaches as well as the wineries offer amazing, unique venues for all types and sizes of wedding celebrations. I love my job!

Edna Valley Vineyard in San Luis Obispo has a gorgeous view of the Seven Sisters (the local volcanic uprising mountain range). The Jack Niven Hospitality Center is a room that holds about 20 people and is lined with wine barrels. This is a perfect spot for a small wedding dinner or a rehearsal dinner. The inside banquet room holds 250 people and opens up to an outside patio where your guest can dance the evening away under the stars. There is an on sight even coordinator who is very helpful and can accommodate just about any need you have.

Blacklake Golf Course in Nipomo is a great option for your wedding ceremony as it features huge 100 year old oaks and gorgeous pools of water. The location is often free of summertime fog and the coastal breeze is truly inviting. The coastal mountains are in sight on just about any stretch of the property. The reception room is gorgeous and can handle up to 250 guests at a time. Blacklake has an on sight catering which does a tremendous job.

The Victorian PitkinConrow Estate. The wedding and reception sites are numerous and the packages they offer range from simple to all encompassing. The location can hold up to 300 guests. There is a historic bunkhouse that can be used as a dressing room and makes a great backdrop for your wedding photography.

Inn at Morro Bay sits right on the water and is a gorgeous place to have an outside ceremony. The large banquet room easily holds 200 wedding guest and the Inn has many rooms so that you and your guest do not have to drive to another location when the party is over. Morro Rock can be seen from just about any part of the property and the deck is perfect for a relaxed sunset reception on the water.

The Madonna Inn is world known for its lavish and nutty architecture. The pink theme resonates in the surrounding buildings and pastoral lands. Cero San Luis is a gorgeous mountain that sits within sight of the property. There are numerous rooms for you to choose to have your reception or ceremony in. The Round Room has gorgeous lighting and can hold 50+ guests. There is a huge balcony sits above the Gold Rush Steak House and can hold 45 people. There are numerous room options that need to be seen in person so as to get the whole affect. Some of the room names include: The Garden Room, The Gay 90’s Room and The Venetian Room. There are spiral staircases with huge chandeliers sitting above wooden dance floors and grand pianos.

Gainey Vineyard is placed in the Santa Ynez foothills and has gorgeous weather year around. Gainey winery is becoming a very popular place for weddings. The hacienda winery has a gorgeous tasting room with a huge fireplace. The wine cellar is a perfect place to have your rehearsal dinner or a small reception. The patio outside is perfect all year around and is surrounded by thick grass and gorgeous grape vines. Like many wineries on the Central Coast, there are gorgeous oaks spotting the rolling hills.

Firestone Winery has huge oaks and rows of gorgeous grapevines. The rolling foothills create a gorgeous summer evening backdrop that is perfect for wedding day pictures. The tasting room has a gorgeous Spanish tiled floor and the barrel room is a gorgeous place to say “I do.” Another option is to have your ceremony on one of the rolling hills and then come down to courtyard for your reception. I love photographing weddings at Firestone Winery.

Silver Horse Winery is a gorgeous place for your wedding. The winery sits on a hilltop overlooking rows and rows of grapes. The facility has a huge lawn and garden and is truly perfect for your winery wedding. There are wonderful patios that invite guests to sit back and relax while enjoying the many different wines the vineyard has to offer. Silver Horse is a terrific choice for a wedding

Bianchi Winery offers a gorgeous view of rolling vineyards and scattered oaks. Bianchi has a very old world feel with nice modern touches. I love photographing wedding at Bianchi winery as the scenic views are breathtaking. There is a great lawn and wooden gazebo that is perfect for your wedding ceremony. On the property is a lake that has a stunning waterfall feeding into it.

Maloy O’Neill Vineyards is a smaller estate vineyard which offers a very hands-on service. The tasting room has a really high ceiling and a nice little fireplace. There is a trellised courtyard which is a perfect spot to have your wedding ceremony. The photography opportunities are endless at this amazing wedding venue.

Meridian Vineyards is a wonderful host for any type of wedding. I recently shot a wedding in the grand barrel room. This was such a treat as this was the first and last time they are going to use that specific spot. The outside lawns are placed in a gorgeous garden setting. The herbs in the gardens smell wonderful during the warm summer evenings.

Still Waters Vineyards is way east of Paso Robles and sits on a gorgeous mountainside. There is a gorgeous lawn up above the reception area where you can have your ceremony overlooking the stunning vineyards. I have shot here in the evening a couple of times and love the way the sun glides down through the rows of grapes. This is a truly a gem of a wedding venue in Paso Robles and I highly suggest you take a look.

Robert Hall Winery has a huge banquet room. The fountains in front are truly inspiring to this photographer. I love shooting at Robert Hall Winery as the architecture is absolutely unique in the Paso Robles area. The open amphitheater is surrounded by well lit reflecting pools. There is a garden terrace that has wonderful vines growing up and around. The terraces look great in the evening sun. This is a unique location that has been inspired by the Tuscany.

Spanish Oaks Ranch in Santa Margarita is another amazing location for having an outside (or inside for that matter) wedding. You can be married under a huge oak tree and have your reception on the outside patio. The patio features a gazebo which I perfect for a live band. The evenings are always cool in Santa Margarita and Spanish Oaks is the perfect spot for any type of wedding.
