Kate and Miles

If the quality of a person is measured by their group of friends, then Miles and Kate are simply the best. Kate is splendid and full of equal parts grace, humor and love. Miles has a silly sense of humor, an abundance of charisma and some of the best dance skills I’ve seen in a long time. These two had their wedding at the Botanical Gardens in San Luis Obispo. The day was perfect with blue skies in Morro Bay where everyone got ready and warm weather late into the evening. I found myself wishing I was better friends with these two. Their tight circle is full of so much history and love; it was a privilege to be a part of their day.

This year has been an absolute blessing, as the couples I have worked with have continually inspired me photographically as well as personally. I am in awe of marriage and the commitment two people make to each other. My leap of faith with Michelle was the smartest thing I have ever done and I appreciate being present each time a new marriage is created. Each week I see people at their best. I see gorgeous brides, handsome husbands, considerate boyfriends, smiles, dancing, laughter and celebration. Real life is often hard and my attendance at each wedding serves as a constant reminder that my life is only enriched by the relationships I have and the new ones I create. Miles and Kate, thank you for setting the bar high and for being a wonderful example to this San Luis Obispo wedding photographer. I truly wish you more happiness with each and every year.
