Last week during “the storm” I had the pleasure of photographing Johanna and Brian. These two are incredible troopers as Johanna was looking for some fun shots to send out with her save the dates. We emailed back and forth a few times as the turned and a three day storm hit California with a ton of rain. I am always looking for an adventure but, I was also aware that a lot of couples are looking for blue skies and lots of pretty sunshine; neither of which were at all available last week. Without hesitation, Johanna and Brian headed up to San Luis Obispo for their engagement shoot. The clouds were extremely dark (even at 3pm) so we did a lot of shooting with my trusty soft box.

Danielle and Jamie are a riot. As you can see from the images, we had a great time! These two were game for anything I could think of and they just kept stepping it up a notch. We started off at the San Luis Obispo DJ headquarters, Cheap Thrills where we checked out the music and had a blast playing around. After that we headed around Downtown San Luis Obispo finally making our way to the gorgeous California fields for sunset. Danielle and Jamie are extremely sweet. I really appreciate how much Jamie adores his girl. I can’t wait for their wedding!

Thank you so much for the amazing book. It was so fun to go through
with Danielle last night after she returned from her dress fitting in Orange County. We looked through it four or five times. It was so kind for you to do that and we both loved the artistry of the shots and the way that you captured our personalities in film.
It was such a fun time the other day and I’m really glad that you’ll be at our wedding to share in the special day.
