Kirsten and Russ had a fantastic Santa Margarita Ranch wedding last weekend. We started off just outside of Pozo at The Lodge at Oak Creek Ranch. The Lodge at Oak Creek Ranch is a huge facility that hosted both Russ and Kirsten’s family the days leading up to their wedding. The Pozo area is incredible as there are thousands of acres of wild flowers and oak trees scattered around the vast landscape. Russ and Kirsten’s wedding and reception were held at Santa Margarita Ranch. Santa Margarita Ranch is one of my all time favorite wedding venues. There are numerous old cars, trains, steam powered vehicles, barns and hills speckled with oak trees all over the property. Last weekend we were hit with sunshine, rain, heavy cloud cover as well as gusting winds followed by a few lightening strikes. The weather was incredible and challenging as every few minutes I was working with a new type of light. Kirsten and Russ’ wedding was full of family and friends ready to celebrate with dancing, wine and more dancing!
