Time for pie.

This has been such an incredible year for me both business wise and personally. I capped off the year right at forty weddings, we sold/bought/moved into a new house just down the road from Michelle’s office and 10 minutes (by bicycle) from Downtown San Luis Obispo. PJ started pre-school 3 days a week and Michelle and I continue to pursue our goal of raising a healthy, happy kiddo with a good head on his shoulders and a kind heart. This year I photographed weddings in Tahoe, Seattle, all over California and Jamaica. The couples I met were some of the nicest, open and loving people I have ever come into contact with. I heard more times than I could count, “Jonathan, we love what you do, just do your thing…” This continuous statement of trust and validation has inspired me more than ever before in my career.

Next year, I have many more weddings in San Luis Obispo county than ever before. I’ll be visiting barns, wineries, mountain tops and coast lines around the central coast. In Spring I’ll be meeting up with Erica and Joe for their Texas wedding. A month later, I’ll be with Susan and Jacob in Maui as they celebrate their wedding day. And late next year Michelle, PJ and I will be heading down to Mexico during the Día de Muertos (Day of the Dead) celebration for Katie and Dane’s festival wedding.

I cannot wait for all the experiences 2012 will bring. As PJ continues to grow, Michelle’s and my bond also becomes stronger. Our house is slowly turning into the home of our dreams and I am more thankful with each passing season.

Merry Christmas from the Shoresman-Roberts family.
