San Luis Obispo Wedding Photographer

The last 90 days have been an absolute blessing. I have had the pleasure of photographing amazing couples in some of the most beautiful venues in the world. I am truly blessed and can’t wait for the up and coming winter wedding season. I put together a little slide show of some of my favorite images taken over the last couple of months. Thank you to all my wonderful couples who make my job a joy each and every weekend.

Alaina and Matt

San Luis Obispo wedding photographers, Bluephoto.biz travels to Winters California to photograph Alaina and Matt’s wedding day amongst the a grove of walnut trees. The garden wedding was wonderful as the property is equipped grape vines and a small pond perfect for a wedding.

Kerry and Jan

Kerry and Jan had a very romantic wedding at a gorgeous estate with a grand view and beautiful green pastures all around. The soft colors pastels were everywhere from the cake to the table settings and centerpieces. Around the property, horses were as abundant as the sun splashing its rays across the green grass, through the dried brush and scattering amongst the oaks. Jan is in love with his wife. Kerry is in awe of her man. These two sought out a partner, found each other and haven’t let go since. There was a classic elegance running through the evening and touching every part of this wedding celebration. I am honored to have been present to capture their day. Kerry and Jan, I hope all of your dreams come true.

Jasmine and Morgan

Jasmine and Morgan had a gorgeous {albeit windy} wedding last weekend up at Cambria Pines Lodge. Their wedding ceremony was held at Shamel Park which is a quick trip down the hill from Cambria Pines Lodge. When I arrived at Cambria Pines Lodge to get some pictures of Jasmine getting ready, I was surprised to see Ashley who made the dress doing some last minute touch-ups. I see gorgeous gowns each week and have never really thought about the amount of work that goes into each piece. Watching the Ashley’s skilled hands go over last minute alterations was like watching any other artists scrutinize their work prior to putting it out for display.

Paso Robles Weddings

As a Paso Robles wedding photographer, Dancing Horse Ranch has continued to inspire me with the surreal light that comes across the grass and through the trees each evening. The first wedding I shot at Dancing Horse Ranch was Billy and Kristen’s a year or so ago: HERE. I was taken by surprise by the golden streaks and soft golden light that graced us that evening. Most evening light is a bit more directional but, at Dancing Horse Ranch, the color seems to be bouncing around the entire valley. Since Billy and Kristen’s wedding, I have never been disapointed by this amazing place. I assume that most photographers have special wedding venues where they feel at ease creating images. For me, Dancing Horse Ranch is one of those places (even in 107 degree heat – as it was when we shot the image below).

Jeni and Joe

Madonna Inn Weddings in San Luis Obispo, California are an event to remember! Madonna Inn wedding photographer, Jonathan Roberts, is continually inspired by the Madonna Inn grand room, wine cellar and surrounding mountains. Photography Madonna Inn is very special!

Danielle and James

Vina Robles wedding photographers love creating images at this amazing winery wedding location. Danielle and James had a wonderful winery wedding in Paso Robles, California. We were blessed with blue skies and a cool breeze. This was a truly amazing wedding.

Terri and David

California winery wedding photographer, Jonathan Roberts, photographed Terri and David as they had their romantic destination wedding at Eberle Winery in Paso Robles, California. Bluephoto is a destination wedding photography company based out of San Luis Obispo, California.

Sky and Kyle

Pismo Beach Weddings and Shell Beach Weddings are truly magical. Shore Cliff wedding photographer, Shelter Cove wedding photographer and the Cliffs wedding photographer, Bluephoto, does and incredible job capturing unique sunset wedding pictures of couples on their wedding day.

Kate and Miles

If the quality of a person is measured by their group of friends, then Miles and Kate are simply the best. Kate is splendid and full of equal parts grace, humor and love. Miles is a doof with an amazing sense of humor, an abundance of charisma and some of the best dance skills I’ve seen in a long time. These two had their wedding at the Botanical Gardens in San Luis Obispo. The day was perfect with blue skies in Morro Bay where everyone got ready and warm weather late into the evening. I found myself wishing I was better friends with these two. Their tight circle is full of so much history and love; it was a privilege to be a part of their day.

Botanical Gardens | Kate and Miles {preview}

Kate and Miles had a wonderful San Luis Obispo wedding at the Botanical Gardens. Their wedding party was one of the most fun groups I’ve every photographed. Here is a little preview of the artsy pictures we captured.

Jennifer and John

Fresno wedding photographer, Bluephoto did a wonderful job capturing this very unique wedding at the Pelican Point Inn in San Luis Obispo. Fresno wedding photography is tricky because of the fog and bright sunshine and this Fresno wedding photographers understands how to work with these varying elements.

Katie and Tim

Backyard weddings are often intimate and full of loving family. Last week I had the pleasure to photograph Katie and Tim’s wedding in Cupertino, California. This San Jose wedding took place on Katie’s Dad’s property. The backyard was gorgeous with a running stream flowing. The dance floor was up on a raised deck where everyone scooted and shuffled all afternoon. The weather last weekend was perfect all day long. After the ceremony and group shots, Katie, Tim, Michelle (last week’s lovely assistant/wife ) and I headed to a nearby park. The park was full of trees that allowed wonderful shafts of light to shoot through. Katie and Tim are remarkable and completely in love. I had a wonderful time photographing these two. I can’t wait to finish up their album as it will be full of so many amazing memories.
